Zandronum is a multiplayer oriented port, based off Skulltag, for Doom and Doom II by id Software. Zandronum brings classic Doom into the 21st century, maintaining the essence of what has made Doom great for so many years and, at the same time, adding new features to modernize it, creating a fresh, fun new experience. SLADE 3 is a cross-platform wxWidgets-powered utility for modifying WAD and PK3 files. It is developed by sirjuddington. SLADE 3 is a modern utility, designed for modifying Doom data files. It has a multitude of features making it the most powerful Doom data editor to date. It supports Zandronum's custom data, and supports advanced features. I used to use XWE years ago before I found Slade. I've still used it like three times in the last couple of years to look at/rip an entry in a wad that Slade identified as 'unknown', but was actually a non-standard format sound file (which played in-game just fine). SLumpEd is a wxWidgets based WAD editor for various Doom engine games, created by Simon Judd in 2006. Some say it resembles NWT in its interface, it can be used to add, edit, view and replace lumps inside multiple WAD files. This is due to SLumpEd having a tabbed interface, allowing the user to edit many WAD files at once. SLumpEd is also capable of swapping lumps between said files.

It also includes many other features, such as syntax highlighting for various text-based lump formats and PK3 and ZIP file format support.

Development of SLumpEd has ceased; however all SLumpEd features and more are now available in SLADE 3.

Crackers follows the success of the superlative and comprehensive collection Cum On Feel The Hitz which gave Slade their highest album chart entry since 1974, when it debuted at #8, proving the affection for Slade’s music and attitude remains undimmed today.

Formed in Wolverhampton in 1966, Slade's chart career spanned 3 decades. Slade were unstoppable throughout the seventies becoming one of Europe's biggest bands, releasing six smash hit albums, including three #1s, and their hit singles are synonymous with the era. The sensational songwriting partnership of Noddy Holder and Jim Lea provided a soundtrack to the Glam Generation and with a run of 17 consecutive Top 20 singles between 1971 and 1976, no other act of the period experienced such success.

In the Eighties, Slade enjoyed a renaissance, buoyed by a spectacular appearance at the Reading Festival in 1980, their hits included “My Oh My”, which reached #2 in 1983 and a year later with “Run Run Away”, cementing their legacy as one of the UK’s greatest bands.

Slade’s Crackers is the most joyously raucous, loud and singalong release you will hear this Christmas.
